Faith, Vision, & Goals

Statement of Faith

We believe

  • The Bible is the only infallible, authoritative Word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit
  • That there is one God, eternally existent and revealed to man as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost
  • In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal, visible return to this earth to receive to Himself all those that have placed their faith in Him, that they may be with Him forever
  • That the only means of being cleansed from sins is through repentance and faith in Christ
  • In repentance, water baptism, and the gift of the Holy Spirit for all who have placed faith in Jesus Christ according to Acts 2:38
  • God instituted marriage when He created male and female and blessed the one flesh relationship according to Gen 2:4 signifying that marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in a lifetime, covenant commitment
  • God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood, or adoption
  • In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation
  • In the present day ministry of the Holy Spirit; in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit within each believer from the moment of spiritual rebirth; in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit as available to all believers
  • In the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ
  • That recreation by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation
  • In intensive world Discipleship in accordance with the great commission (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-18)
